Meet Taylor

Taylor is one of the founders of the Underdogs Rescue Ranch. Taylor grew up in a family that believed “rescued is our favorite breed” and feels even more strongly about that now. From the minute she and her now husband, Adam, layed eyes on their first furbaby, Burton, a mutt that was saved off the streets of Mexico, her passion for saving dogs grew. Soon their family expanded to their Aussie mix, Kara, and then their three children, Riley (8), Hunter (6), and Nolan (2). After saying goodbye to Burton and Kara, they have opened their home to numerous foster pups, and “foster failed“ on Rosie, who was rescued from a high kill shelter in texas, and Benny, an Australian Shepherd rescued from an Amish breeding farm. Taylor continues to foster and to be an advocate for the homeless, abused animals, and  teach her kids and the community compassion for the animals that do not have a voice, but deserve to feel the love of a family. She also currently works at an animal Emergency hospital, working to complete her Vet tech license to further help all the underdogs that find themselves at the Ranch. A quote she continuously tells her daughter is “I am saving the world one dog at a time”.
